Click here to visit the Tucows.com download page for PC Tools AntiVirus Free Edition.

Scroll down and click on the Download Now button.

Internet Explorer users may receive a security warning. If this happens, click on the information bar and select Download File.

Select the option to Run the file.

Select the Run option if you receive any additional security warnings.

The installer program will be downloaded. Wait for it to complete.

Click Next.

Select "Install only basic protection - PC Tools AntiVirus Free" and click Next.

Note - You can select advanced protection is you want to purchase a commercial suite of additional security programs from PC Tools, but they are not necessary for anti-virus protection.

Accept the license agreement and click Next.

You can specify an installation path for PC-Tools AntiVirus, or simply click Next to use the default installation path.

Click Install to begin the software installation.

Wait for the installation to complete and then click Finish.

It is recommended to restart your computer after the installation has been completed.
