This outlines the Cancelation and Refund policy for Hover accounts
The policy for Cancelations and Refunds is pretty simple. You can cancel Hover services at any time.
To cancel a service, select the List of Domains tab in your Hover account then click on the email address or domain name that you want to cancel.
Select the Billing tab then click on the plus next to Account Details. Next, click on Cancel.
Click Proceed to confirm the cancelation of your services.
Click OK.
Email services and registered domains will continue to work until your service expiration date.
Refunds are a bit more complicated. Processing of refunds with an immediate cancelation of services will need to be taken care of by Hover customer service. You can contact us by email at help@hover.com or by phone at 1-866-731-6556.
We will provide refunds for unused services, minus our cost of goods. If you have registered a domain name we can provide a full refund within the first 5 days. After the 5 days the registration of your domain is finalized by the registry. This means that we can't get the registration fees returned by the registry and we can't provide a refund for the domain registration. .CA domains are an exception to the 5 day rule. If you have confirmed a .CA registration with CIRA (the .CA registry) then it becomes finalized and a refund for registration fees is not possible.
Email addresses can be canceled at any time, and we'll provide a pro-rated refund for any unused email services that you have purchased.
