Would you like to use your Hover hosted email services within your MobileMe account? No problem! Follow this lesson and you can be sending and receiving Hover email from your MobileMe account in no time!
Visit http://me.com and sign in with your member name and password.
From your MobileMe webmail, click on the Actions button and select Preferences.
Select the Addresses tab then click on the plus sign to add a new email address.
Select the POP Mail option and then click Next.
Enter the following settings under Account Details:
Email Address: Enter your Hover email address.
Full Name: Enter your name as you wish it to appear on outgoing messages.
Description: Hover Email, or any descriptive title of your choosing.
Click Next.
Enter the following incoming server settings:
Mail Server: mail.hover.com
Username: Enter your Hover email address.
Password: Enter your Hover email password.
Put a check next to "Leave messages on server" if you want to retain back up copies of your Hover email messages on our email server, or if you need to download your Hover email to more than one account or email program.
Click Next.
Enter the following outgoing server settings:
SMTP Server: mail.hover.com
Port: Select port 465.
Username: Enter your Hover email address.
Password: Enter your Hover email password.
Click Next.
Click Done.
You will see your Hover email account added to your list of addresses. Click Done.
New email messages sent to your Hover email address will now appear in your MobileMe Inbox, as you can see from the example above.
When composing a new email message, click on the From: list to select your Hover email address as the sender.
You are now configured to send and receive your Hover email within your MobileMe webmail account!
