Before you complete the steps in this lesson, you will need to configre your Hover Email account to forward messages to your Yahoo! email address. If you haven't done this already, click here for step-by-step instructions.

Visit http://mail.yahoo.com and sign in with your Yahoo! ID and password.

Click on Options and select More Options.

Select the Accounts option on the left, then click on the Add Account button.

Enter the following settings:

Account name: Enter any name for your Hover email account, such as Hover Email.
Your 'From' name: Enter your name as you wish it to appear on your outgoing mail messages.
Email address: bevis@barber.net

You can put a check next to "Set as default sending account" if you want to use your Hover email address as the default account for all outgoing messages.

Click Save Changes.

Click on the Send Code link, then click on Verify Later and go into your Yahoo Inbox.

You will receive an email from Yahoo! Member Services with an email address confirmation link. Click on the link to verify your Hover email address.

A new browser window will pop up to confirm that the account has been verified successfully.

Now you can send email in Yahoo! using your Hover email address. Simply select your Hover email address from the From list when you are composing a new email. Your receipients will never know the difference!
