Download Your Third Party POP Account Email In Hover

In webmail you can download email from third party POP3 accounts into your Hover inbox. For example, you could download email for an account from your Internet Service Provider directly into Hover for your convenience.

Add POP Account To Hover

Select Mail under the Settings category then click on the POP tab and click on Add New Account.

The following information needs to be entered:

1. POP Name - this is your own name for the POP account.
2. POP Server Name - this is the mail server address provided by the email provider.
3. POP Server Port - port 110 is the default port and should work for most providers without SSL, 995 will work for most providers if they provide SSL.
4. Use Secure Connect - This will tell us to connect via SSL to your mail server so the email is downloaded through an encrypted connection.
5. POP User Name - enter the user name that is required to log into the email address.
6. POP Full Email Address - your full POP e-mail address needs to be entered here.
7. POP Password - this is the password for the third party account.
8. Destination Folder - you can choose which of your Hover mail folders is used to receive the POP account messages.
9. Leave Messages On Server: Check this option if you would like our system to leave a copy with the email provider instead of deleting it by default.
10. Server Timeout - this is the length of time our server will wait for a response from the POP server before terminating the connection.

After these settings are entered, click on Save and the system will test the settings.
If it is able to connect then your POP email will be downloaded into Web Mail along with your Hover mail whenever you check for messages.

After a POP account is successfully added it will appear in a list under the POP tab. You can edit the account by clicking on the pencil under Action, or delete it by clicking on the "X".

Every five minutes, or any time you click on "Check Mail", the system will download new email off the POP E-mail Address as well as checking your Hover email account.
