This tutorial will go through creating a new email in our Webmail and the different options that are available to you.
First click on New at the top left of the webmail screen. This will open up a new blank message.
There are a number of formatting options here that you can use to make sure your message is as clear as possible to those whom are receiving it.
You can also request a Return Receipt or set the Priority of the email. We discuss those options in this article.
At any time while you're creating a new message you can click on save at the top and it will save the message to your drafts folder. Our system will also auto save your email to the drafts folder every 2 minutes. Once the message is saved by clicking on the save button, or by the auto save system, you will see this button say "saved".
Using these options you can highlight font and:
1) Set it to Bold, Italics, or Underlined
2) Change the type of Font you're using, its size, and its colour
3) Choose the background colour for any text
4) Clear the Font Formatting and set it back to default
5) Strike through the text
6) Set the text position on the screen
7) Set up a Bullet or Number list of items
8) Undo or Re-Do any formatting option
9) Set text to link to a website, or remove the link
10) Run a spell check on your text
11) Set the email to Plain Text
If you set the email to Plain Text...
you will lose all of the formatting options and can only do a Spell Check. If you want to use formatting again just click on "Rich Formatting".
Once you've created the message click on send.
