This tutorial will step you through preparing a domain at Joker.com for a transfer to Hover.
Domain transfers will be outright rejected if:
* the domain name is locked (this tutorial will show you how to unlock your domain name)
* the domain name was registered or transferred in the past 60 days
* the authorization code provided is invalid (this tutorial will show you how to obtain the authorization code)
* the domain name is in redemption
* there is an unresolved domain dispute (a form of registrar lock)

Other top-level domains, such as .AT domains, have a slightly different transfer process. For example, you do not need to unlock .AT domain names or obtain an authorization code.
*The .UK and .CA registries only allow domain privacy if the domain registrant / owner is an individual. Organizations cannot have privacy enabled.
Load www.joker.com and log into your account using the login email and login password boxes on the left hand side of the page.
Click on the domain settings (key) icon.
Click on Edit next to the Administrative contact.
Check your administrative email address for accuracy.
If your administrative email address is out of date, then it will be necessary to create a new contact handle to assign to your domain name.
Click on Service zone.
Scroll down to the Advanced Options section and click proceed.
Under Contact Settings click on create.
Create a new contact with your current email address entered then click next.
Click back.
Take note of your new contact handle ID.
Go back to Home and then click on the keys icon next to the domain name being transferred.
Under Domain Contacts, click on the Replace button next to the Administrative contact.
Select the new contact handle that you recently created from the drop-down list of and then click save,
Your administrative email address has been updated! Click back.
Under Utilities, click on Switch off domain protection.
Click on Unprotect Domain.
Click back.
Click on the Initiate an Authorization ID request link.
Click on Send Auth-ID.
Click back.
Log into your email account to find an email from joker.com with your domains transfer authorization code.
If you made changes to your domain contact information, use a WHOIS look up tool to verify that the new contact information has propagated. Changes to domain names might take a couple of hours to appear. You can perform a WHOIS look up using the following websites: http://www.smartwhois.com/ or http://whois.domaintools.com/
Now that your domain is prepared for the transfer, you can start the process of bringing the domain to Hover. Click on this link for a step by step tutorial.
If you do nothing, your transfer request will be approved after 5 days. Confirming the transfer at Joker will expedite your transfer.
After initiating an outbound domain transfer, Joker will send you an email from the Joker.com Transfer Robot. Click on the link in the email to approve your transfer request.
Select "Yes, I confirm this request" and click next.
After your transfer has been confirmed, it may still take a few days for the transfer to complete.
