Visit http://www.godaddy.com and log in with your customer number and password.

Select the My Account tab then click on Domain Manager.

Put a check next to the domain name to be transferred and then click on Locking.

Uncheck Lock domains then click OK.

The domain has been unlocked. This may take a few minutes to update. Click OK.

Domain Ownership Protection is an optional paid add on service. If you have this service turned on under your Domain Enhancements, then you will need to contact GoDaddy to disable the service.
