Click on the Account Settings tab.

Click on User Profile.

Scroll down and check your User Profile email address for accuracy. If the address is out of date, click on Edit User Profile.

Enter your current email address in the E-mail text field and then click Save.

Check Your Domain WHOIS Contact Information

Using a public whois website, check whether or not you need to update your domain's administrative contact email address. Here are two services you can use:

http://smartwhois.com
http://whois.domaintools.com

In the screenshot above, I used smartwhois.com to check the admin email address for hideandseekolympics.com.

If your email address does not need to be changed, please skip down to the section titled "Acquire Your Domain Authorization Code." If your admin email address is out of date, it should be updated prior to transfer.

Please be advised, Network Solutions places a 30-day lock on domain names when there is a change in either the Primary or WHOIS Administrative Contact. This step is necessary but will require you to wait 30 more days before you can initiate your transfer to Hover.

A confirmation message will be displayed after your user information has been updated.
