If you have the Private Domain service enabled, you will need to contact Register.com by phone at 1-888-734-4783 to disable domain privacy. Follow the steps below if you want to check whether privacy is enabled for your domain.

Visit http://www.register.com and click on Your Account.

Log in with your Register.com username and password.

Look under the domain name to be transferred. If Private Domain is listed and set to Active, then you will need to contact Register.com by phone at 1-888-734-4783 to disable privacy.
