When you transfer any domain name to Hover the losing registrar, at their own discretion, may either acknowledge and approve the outbound transfer request immediately, or they can hold the domain name for a period of 5 days. This gives registrars time to verify the legitimacy of outbound transfers and helps prevent domain hijacking.

1&1's standard policy is to approve transfer requests immediately for any unlocked domain names. It may still take 2-3 days for a domain transfer request to be processed. If you receive an email from 1&1 regarding your domain transfer, please follow their instructions to approve your transfer request.

After your transfer has been completed, you will receive a Congrats! email like the one above.
