When you transfer any domain name to Hover the losing registrar, at their own discretion, may either acknowledge and approve the outbound transfer request immediately, or they can hold the domain name for a period of 5 days. This gives registrars time to verify the legitimacy of outbound transfers and helps prevent domain hijacking.

DomainPeople's standard policy is to approve transfer requests automatically after the 5 day hold period. DomainPeople may contact you by email during the 5 day hold period to confirm the domain transfer request. If you receive an email from DomainPeople, please follow their instructions to approve your transfer request. This will expedite the transfer to Hover and prevent it from being canceled by DomainPeople.

After your transfer has been completed, you will receive a Congrats! email like the one above.
